Cuban athlete Guillermo Martinez showed he is in top form in preparation for the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro this July with an 85.93 meter javelin throw at the Grand Prix of Fortaleza, Brazil. Cuba has reduced the use of chemical pesticides by 50 percent replacing them with biological products and favoring the development of natural enemies of insects that plague crops.
