Chavez will go to Cuba for medical tests

PdVSA official says China is likely to provide funds for Cuban refineries

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Venezuelan state oil company plans to invest a total of $13.63 billion in three Cuban refineries. One expansion project is already underway; China Export &amp; Credit Insurance Corp. is apparently providing funding for that project, using Venezuelan oil revenues as collateral. China is “almost sure” to provide funding for three refinery projects in Cuba, PdVSA Internal Director Jesús Luongo said during an international oil congress in Caracas, according to Venezuelan daily El Universal. Cuban President informs about restructuring the economy, ministries

But the measure is just the beginning of a broader reorganization adopted at a Council of Ministers meeting last Saturday, the government insiders said. Repsol reaffirms its drilling programs in Cuban waters comply with U.S.embargo
