BY. Jennifer Socorro Ramon. Havana, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) Cuban famous musician Leo Brouwer will be in Brazil at the end of October in order to preside the 3rd Guitar Festival named after him.

Cuban musicologist and director of the Leo Brouwer Office, Isabelle Hernnadez told Prensa Latina that Leo will conduct the Sao Paulo municipal orchestra in two symphonic concerts.

The festival will be held from October 21st to November 4th, where will also participate the Cuban duet Ondina (flautist Niurka Gonzales and pianist Maria del Henar Navarro). Dutch Alenxandre Gismonti and Hamilton will also perform in the festival.

After participating in the festival, the Cuban musician will travel to Cordoba, Spain to attend the celebration of the first anniversary of the Young Philharmonic Orchestra Leo Brouwer, made up by students from southern Spain.
