The 35th meeting of the Central American and Caribbean organization of governmental supervising bodies (OCCEFS, Spanish) starts this Friday in Havana at the Palco Hotel. Cuba, represented by the country's General Comptroller, was elected president of the organization in 2010. OCCEFS emerged in 1995 in El Salvador and comprises control and supervision bodies from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Belize and Cuba.
