Costa Rica routs Cuba 5-0 at Cowboys Stadium

<p style="text-align: justify;">ARLINGTON -- Costa Rica simply dominated Cuba in the opening match of the 2011 Gold Cup at Cowboys Stadium on Sunday.Costa Rica rolled to a 5-0 victory even without playing its injured captain, Bryan Ruiz, in midfield.The Cuban defense pushed a high line to the midfield stripe. The 35th meeting of the Central American and Caribbean organization of governmental supervising bodies (OCCEFS, Spanish) starts this Friday in Havana at the Palco Hotel. Cuba, represented by the country's General Comptroller, was elected president of the organization in 2010. OCCEFS emerged in 1995 in El Salvador and comprises control and supervision bodies from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Belize and Cuba. Make Cuba your first choice for relaxation

To me it held everything in a holiday – sun, beach, pool and a chance to explore another country, one steeped in history and culture. We stayed in Varadero, a small peninsula dotted with beautiful resorts. Varadero is capitalism at its finest, surprising really, on this small communist island.
