Dutch company has golf plans for state-owned marina community

<p style="text-align: justify;">Amsterdam-based Romar Finance, which has had a presence in Cuba for 15 years, is planning to expand a 270-yacht marina and renovate hotels at Tarará, a gated luxury community in East Havana mainly built in the 1940s by American Royal S. Webster. A Romar subsidiary began planning of the marina at Tarará one-and-half years ago. The first phase of the project includes dredging, rebuilding and expanding the marina, and renovating an existing motel, according to official business weekly Opciones. The Dutch will also provide a maintenance vessel for yachters. Read More
