US top diplomat refers to Cuba's new economic policies

Santa Clara’s Int’l Airport Ready to Take on More Flights

Santa Clara, Cuba.- The Abel Santamaria International Airport of the central city of Santa Clara is ready for an increase of 160 flights during the upcoming winter season, meaning that a larger number of travelers will be arriving in this facility this year’s season as compared with the same period in 2009. The airport’s director, Mario Ricardo Mir, told ACN the air terminal received around 225,000 travelers last year.
