Cuban film Ticket to Paradise in Spain at the end of October

Based on the book Confesiones a un medico (Confessions to a Physician) by Dr. Jorge Perez, the film was chosen by the Cuban Film Institute to represent the island in the candidacy to the Goya prizes, given by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain.At present, the movie competes in the official selection of Latin America, in Biarritz, France. The Cuban film Boleto al paraiso (Ticket to Paradise), by Gerardo Chijona, will be screened at the end of October in movie theaters of the main Spanish cities, as part of its successful international tour. Cuba expects good results in World Baseball Cup

Panama, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) Cuba, the country with the largest amount of wins ever in the history of world baseball cups, will make its debut Sunday at the 39th World Baseball Cup Panama-2011, setting sights on its 26th victory. Havana Club marketing campaign inspired by Havana City

<p style="text-align: justify;">In 2010, the company developed a global marketing campaign inspired by the city of Havana, tagged ‘Nothing Compares to Havana.’ Without even mentioning the rum brand, the advertisements simply highlight culture and life in the city. Havana Club also added “Selección de Maestros” last year, a ultra-premium rum in a new high-price category. MOU signed between Jamaica and Cuba to tackle drug trafficking in the area
