Great Expectation on Chucho Valdes Performance. The expectation on the performance of the Cuban jazz player Chucho Valdes has increased his popularity among the audience and the media in Lebanon, hours before his performance at the International Beirut Jazz Festival.

The festival opened with the performance of Rabih Abou Khalil and his band, from Lebanon; an icon of the musical fusion at the end of the 20th century in Beirut. He is also famous for his studies of flute, Arab and classic western music, and his influence from rock and jazz.The quintet Philippe El-Hage also participated in the festival.The festival will end with the performance of Marcus Miller,an American composer and a multi-instrumentalist.
