Alvarez Cambras, head of the Cuban Orthopedic and Trauma Society, announced the confirmation of attendance by 40 foreign guests and 10 commercial companies.

Two hundred delegates will be present in this event to show the latest results in this field in several countries, including the host country, where the discipline have reached a high level of development.

During the different sessions the expositors will introduce over 300 works about orthopedics in Cuba, among which stand out those from the Cienfuegos province, specially the ones related to hip fractures.

At the same time of the Congress celebration new orthopaedic techniques to this central province’s inhabitants who will receive special shoulder, knee and spine surgeries.
