2011, International Year for People of African Descent

The world will observe through 2011 the International Year for People of African Descent, established by the UN to promote the full enjoyment of economic, cultural, social, civil and political rights for these communities. Rio 2016 Olympic Games Logo Presented

The Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro-2016 presented the official logo of the huge sports event.It's a figure made up of three human shapes bound together through their feet and hands, in yellow, blue and green colors. Cuba marking 52nd anniversary of Revolution by concerts, festivities
