Latin American Casa Award Jury ready to assess writings

The jurors are at Jagua hotel, a beautiful scenario from the central city of Cienfuegos city, declared National Monument of the Cuban cultural heritage.
At least 16 figures of literature and arts from 10 countries that will be presented on Monday at the Ernesto Che Guevara hall of Casa de Las Americas, in Havana, who are in charge of deliberating about the works in contest for the award, taking into consideration relations with the real Cuban situation.
They will also give lectures about theatre and Latin American and Caribbean literature, and will hold a round table discussion about an especially important commemoration that coincides with the 51st Casa de Las Americas contest, the bicentennial of the beginning of the Latin American liberation struggles.
The jury will be composed as follows:
