He voiced his satisfaction with cooperation in health and education Cuba has been giving to Paraguay.
During his stay in Havana Lugo met with his Cuban peer Raul Castro. Both leaders recognized the good bilateral relations and ratified their wish to strengthen them even more.
They also discussed issues of regional and global interest and the challenges Cuba and Paraguay are facing at this moment.
The Paraguayan Head of State held an aproximately two-hour meeting with the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and talked about cooperation programs between the two countries.
He also visited the Latin America School of Medicine where he exchanged opinions with about 800 Uruguayan youngsters who are training in this facility.
