Viña Davila considers that by the end of the current year the first results of this joint experiment should be ready whose first step was to form the human resources engaged in the preservation of the rich biodiversity in the area.
He announced the next sistering between the Baconao Biological Reserve and that of Aragua, in the Dominican
Republic and later on, with a similar area in Haiti.
Work in the protected areas is one of the objectives of the Corridor, based mainly in the territories of Eastern Cuba and west of La Española, said Director of BIOECO.
