The gala, to be hold to celebrate the second enniversary of the Nationalization of the Venezuelan Telephones National Anonimous Company (CANTV in Spanish), will take place in the spaces of the Center for Social Action for Music.

The famous artist is considered by specialized critic as one of the five best life classical pianists.

In his catalogue as composer may be seen more than 200 pieces for choir, symphonic orchestras, chamber orchestras and a special attention goes ton his diversity of compositions for the movies and television, with which he achieved important awards in different competitions.

He has received many distinctions and awards, among which stand out the First degree Félix Varela Award, the Distinction for Nationaln Culture, the Alejo Carpentier Medal, the Medal for Education, the Máximo Gómez Machete, the Bogota schield, among others.
