Cuban Cyclists to Compete in Uruguay
The Cuban delegation is headed by Arnold Alcolea, who tops the America Por Tour ranking with 146 points, and includes Raúl Granjel, Lizardo Benítez, Yenier López, Adonis Cardoso and Alien García.

The champion of the Tour of Cuba in February will have the chance to defend his leadership in the Americas ranking, as the Tour of Uruguay is included in the schedule of the International Cycling Union.

Alcolea is followed by Chile's Luis Sepúlveda (142) and Colombia's Gregorio Ladino (138).

Ten foreign teams are expected to take part in the Tour of Uruguay, including national teams from Cuba, Chile and Brazil, as well as the Acme Cycling Team (Argentina), Planet Energy (Canada), Kelly Benefits (United States), Orbea América (Colombia) and Casaor-Costa de Azahar (Spain).
