The Workshop of Sculpture Rita Longa is the main venue of the event that has among its main objectives to strengthen that movement in the region.

Famed artists of the territory will carry out a mural they will donate to the cultural patrimony of the municipality of Jesus Menendez, one of the most damaged territories by the last hurricanes Ike and Paloma, in the year 2008.

As part of the main activities of this event the exhibition Barro con alma (Clay with Soul) was inaugurated Friday, with pieces made by famed artisrts, such as Alberto Lescay, Carlos Alberto Reyes, Nelson Tellez and Mariela Diaz, among others that will show their icons under the balance of their experiences.

The fifth Workshop of Artistic Creation concludes this Saturday under the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of the Plastic Arts in Las Tunas.
