Nelson Domínguez (Santiago de Cuba, 1947) has relations with Bayamo since his childhood and started his formation at the Camilo Cienfuegos Scholar City of the Bartolome Maso municipality in Granma province. He created ion the Monument City the first engraving workshop school of the province.
Pablo Milanes (Bayamo, 1943) is recognized as one of the most popular singers and is one of the founders of the Cuban Nueva Trova Movement.
