The Works belong to René Portocarrero, Mariano Rodríguez, Raúl Martínez, Flora Fong, Nelson Domínguez, Ernesto García Peña, Roberto Diago Querol, Juan Vicente Rodríguez Bonachea, Alberto Jorge Carol and Ernesto Rancaño and are born fro the search and the meeting with that continuous mystery and astonishment that is Marti.
Armando Hart Dávalos congratulated the Union of Young Communists (UJC, after its initials in Spanish) for the beautiful idea of collecting these pictures that are part of the collection of the Centre of Martian Studies and of the Office of the Martian program.
Luis Morlote, president of the Hermanos Saiz Association, talked about the many faces of the teacher that are revealed in these works, both the conspirator and restless activist in exile, the calmed thinker, the authentic Cuban, the tender and modest human being and the friend of children.
Those are colossal works, true jewellery and exhibit them is a way to honour that great and extraordinary man that, thanks to Fidel and for these revolution, is born again every year.
Julio Martínez, first secretary of the UJC, Ana Sánchez, director of the Centre of Martian Studies and Mileydis Ramírez, president of the Martian Youth movement took part in the opening ceremony.
