 Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva concluded his visit to Cuba
Also present at the airport for the farewell were the vice-president of the Cuban Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, and Cuban ambassador to Brazil Bernardo Pericas, among other officials.

During his visit to Havana, the Brazilian President and his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro presided over the inauguration of the APEX-Havana Business Support Center in the Cuban capital and the signing of a contract setting up a international economic association between Brazil’s Petrobras company and Cuba’s Cupet S.A. enterprise in the oil sector.

The joint accord establishes oil exploration and production during a 32-year term.
