Books, bottle caps, sheets from metalic cans destined to liquids and part of cloth are among the elements combined with the painted images in the paintings of the exhibition "El arte de reciclar el arte".
Green and red tones are part of the presented multicolour context, which relatively breaks the sobriety of the tones of the creations of Jover, who, nevertheless, keeps in the mentioned series, the importance of the use of the black, grey and white.
The group of 20 creations has three different subjects: personalities with extraordinary international print – such as Marti, Che and Fidel - , virgins and other pictorial symbols of the Renaissance and hands with references to the African catholic religious syncretism.
Joel Jover, who is one of the members of the contemporary Cuban plastic avant-garde, exhibited before in the Cuban capital city in 2007, a year in which he also took part in the Parisian May Hall, one of the worlds main forum in that speciality.
