Dr. Graziella Pogolotti, president of the Alejo Carpentier Foundation, received copies of the book by the Brazilian publishing house, which announced that other works written by the first Latin American to receive the Cervantes Award will be coming out soon.

Among the coming titles are A harpa e a sombra (The Harp and the Shadow) and O reino deste mundo (The Kingdom of This World), translated by Marcelo Tapia for the publishing house.

Graziella Pogolotti, who assumed the chair of the foundation after Carpentier’s wife Lilia Esteban de Carpentier passed away, announced that books by the Cuban writer will be available at the upcoming International Book Fair in Cuba.
