Cuban Deputy Minister to Meeting arrived in La Paz Bolivia
Popular music Orchestra Aragon is also attending and will perform for the first time in Bolivia, noted Bolivian Deputy Minister of Culture Pablo Groux.

Notables Frei Betto (Brazil) and Francois Houtart, Armand Mattelart and his wife Michelle Mattelart (Belgium) have also confirmed their attendance, as well as Nicaraguan Ernesto Cardenal and US William Ramsey Clark, among others.

The meeting is expected to gather nearly thirty local and foreign delegates to discuss the Bolivian reality and the process of changes promoted by the Government of Evo Morales since January 2006.

At the end of the meeting, delegates are expected to approve the Declaration of La Paz. An exchange among Culture ministers and officials from member countries of ALBA (the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas) and MERCOSUR (the Southern Common Market) will also be held on the sidelines of the international meeting of intellectuals, to be opened and closed by Bolivian President Evo Morales.
