In the collection can be also seen the original prototype of the José Martí (1853-1895) bust that is located at the Pico Turquino, the highest mountain in Cuba and the death mask of Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945), the thirtieth second president of the USA.
The mask of the US president exhibited in the museum was used by the Cuban sculptor to model the sculpture of the president that later on was located at the Washington Memorial in the capital city of the northern country.
The majestic, impressive and famous Havana Christ is located at Havana ´s Cabaña Hill, in a small elevation, on the other side of the bay and reachable by the passers. The work is 15 meters and has a 3 meter pedestal.
The monument was located there in December 1958 and has become since then a symbol of the Cuban capital.
