According to Granma news daily, during the fraternal meeting, Raul and Maduro exchanged ideas about the current situation in both countries and analyzed the development of the excellent bilateral ties. They also spoke of topics related to the regional and international agenda and the Cuban President ratified Cubas solidarity with the people and government of the Bolivarian Revolution of Venezuela.

Also present in the meeting were Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and German Sanchez Otero, ambassador of the Caribbean nation in Caracas.
