"I am very happy to visit this island again, invited by Commander Raul Castro to talk on the revolutionary process taking place in Latin America and to see Fidel Castro, that older wise brother I admire who has always inspired us," the South American statesman said.

Morales was welcomed Wednesday night at the Havana airport by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque, the daily stated.

The statesman told press that Bolivia is now preparing for the August 10 revocation referendum.

"We hope the opposition sector complies with the people without any problem. For the first time, Bolivians will have the right to revoke or ratify their statesmen andáauthorities," Morales noted.

"We are going to respect people's conscience through this referendum approved by the National Congress," the Bolivian president stated.

His brief agenda here also includes meeting with Cuban President Raul Castro.
