Songs like "Chapeando", "Despues de Todo", "Anda, Ven," and others made Argentineans move their hips at La Trastienda Theater.
The performance motivated Argentinean newspaper Clarin to use the title "Machine to Make People Dance" at the head of an article.
Clarin said Los Van Van left the audience tired after so much dancing and rhythm, and called them "The Rolling Stones from Cuba", coming to Argentina after 10 years.
Winner of a Grammy Award in 2000 with the CD "Llego Van Van", the band formed on December 4, 1969 Juan Formell, is a reference in the history of Cuban and Caribbean music.
