Milanes is scheduled to give concerts in Buenos Aires on Thursday and Friday, and later in the province of Cordoba, reports the Prensa Latina news agency.

Milanes, who is a co-founder of the Nueva Trova musical movement in Cuba along with Silvio Rodriguez and Noel Nicola, said he likes to take chances and put new tunes to the audience consideration. "Otherwise, people get always used to the old songs," he said.

The Cuban artist said he will sing several unpublished songs that he composed between the age of 18 and 20 years. He pointed out that they will be included in an album which is already being produced in Havana.

The author of "Yolanda" acknowledged that his daughters found a tape with a concert that included several unpublished songs and more material to record 2 or 3 albums, but he was interested only in five songs.

Milanes' concerts in Argentina are part of a Latin American tour he started in Honduras and will end up in Montevideo, Uruguay, on April 28.
