Cuba certifies salvadoran Medicine Lab

CECMED, Cuba's medication regulatory agency, has certified the production practices of Lopez Pharmaceutical Labs in El Salvador, guaranteeing that medicines produced there imported by the island fulfill quality, security and efficiency requirements.
Dr. Olga Lidia Jacobo Casanueva, sub director of CECMED, said In the inspection carried out in the latter part of last year reviewed productive documentation, installations, capacity of the human resources and other factors, according to parameters established by the World Health Organization.
The official added that CECMED itself was evaluated as competent to fulfill said functions by WHO since 2000.
