Times have changed in Cuba, but softly the struggle continues

<p style="text-align: justify;">On my first day in Cuba, in 1967, I waited in a bus queue that was really a conga line. Ahead of me were two large, funny women resplendent in frills of blinding yellow; one of them had an especially long bongo under her arm. When the bus arrived, painted in Cuba's colours for its inaugural service, they announced that the gringo had not long arrived from London and was therefore personally responsible for this breach in the American blockade. HAVANA, Cuba (SJ) Cuban President Raul Castro condemned NATO's military aggression against Libya during a meeting in this city with Abdulhaid M.Zlitniel, special envoy of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. During the meeting, which took place on Wednesday, Raul Castro called for the immediate end of the attacks on Libya, particularly the air strikes against civilian facilities, which kill innocent people, in order to advance towards a peaceful solution to the Libyan conflict on the grounds of full respect for Libya's independence, territorial integrity, self-determination and sovereignty over its natural resources, reads an article published on Granma newspaper. More airports granted Cuba landing rights

Eight airports this week in addition to Tampa International Airport were granted landing rights in Cuba for charter flights.The cities are Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Palm Harbor-based travel service provider Scand-America International announced it would arrange travel services to Cuba from the Tampa area, where two companies have been approved to provide flights from Tampa International.
