The Cuban-American René Lecour, who lives in Kendall, participates in the construction of a skate park near Havana seawall promenade, with the support of the Cuban authorities.
"We've had about three meetings with them already. Everything has been a handshake more than anything else. We received much more than expected," Lecour told The Miami Herald.
If the Cuban government accepts the designs, Lecour clarified, they can immediately begin seeking funding for the construction of the track.
