The NY Cosmos players occupied several tables on the terrace of 'El Patio' restaurant, overlooking the Cathedral Square, which attracted many Cubans and tourists visiting Old Havana. 
The famous player Raul signed autographs for children and adults on Wednesday after having lunch with his teammates.
"I'm glad being here, it has been a great experience," Raul told AFP after tasting local food at El Patio.
His Brazilian-Spanish teammate Marcos Senna said he expects the NY Cosmos to have the "opportunity to return" to the island, because "the days we've been here cannot be better," adding that "rapprochement of the United States and Cuba was a step forward and I hope it continues on."
