The Health Minister of Nepal, Khem Karki, announced the creation of a mobile hospital where Cuban doctors will work, due to the hospital emergency left by the earthquake, as informed by TeleSUR special correspondent Aissa Garcia.
The date of the arrival of these doctors to the city devastated by the earthquake of 7.6 in the Richter scale that hit the country on April 25th and that so far has caused the death of 7,652 persons is not known yet.
A few days ago, the World Health Organization reported that several hospitals in Nepal needed medical supplies urgently.
Today, most hospitals in the 12 districts most affected by the earthquake are still operating, but some facilities are completely destroyed or damaged and cannot continue offering their services.
The Prime Minister of Nepal, Sushil Koirala, announced that the houses that will be built will be earthquake proof, and that a Ministry for Disasters will be created to face this type of crisis.
