HAVANA, June 23 (Xinhua) -- More than 700 delegates from 10 nations kicked off a meeting on stomatology here Wednesday.

The three-day International Convention Stomatology 2010, mainly focuses on comprehensive dental care and the challenge of global aging.

Oral cancer is another important topic at the event. On that subject, the host nation will demonstrate its achievements,

including a community prevention program and the screening of the population at early age.

The conference schedule includes the presentation of new technologies and biomaterials for advanced dental care treatment,

cosmetic dentistry, implantology, maxillofacial prosthetics and rehabilitation, primary health care and quality of care.
