The organizers of the Havana Book Fair launched on Tuesday the event's 2011 edition at an important regional editorial meeting underway in this capital.

It was presented at a roundtable with the topic "Pensar a Cuba" (Thinking of Cuba) from a Latin American and Caribbean Vision as part of the program of the 36th International Book fair of Buenos Aires.

Cuban participants are launching titles such as "La Fiesta de los Tiburones" (The Party of the Sharks), "Autocriticas" (Self-criticism), "Revolucion Cubana del 1930" (Cuban Revolution of 1930) and others.

There will be another roundtable on Cuba on Thursday, and the awards corresponding to the 1st Latin American Novel Contest "Narrativa 2010" will be granted.

The Day of Cuba will be celebrated on Friday, three days before the final day.

More than 1,300 publishing houses from 38 countries and the United Nations, are taking part in this event.
