Old Havana: A Moving City which will take place from April 7 to 11, 2010.
Havana, the first harbour, the refuge or corsairs and pirates of the past, becomes these days a singular stage for choreographers, performers and related artists. Architecture and movement, history and imagination come together in an artistic event that is accessible, educational and stimulating for the everyday life of the community.
Old Havana: A Moving City, is an enriching event that allows people to promote an exchange of artistic ideas and experiences between individuals and the people, thus creating a common commitment of releasing different languages and cultures.
Schedule
Mornings: Encounters, Exhibitions, Conferences, Passacaglia.
Afternoons: Master lessons, passacaglia, Shows and Workshops.
Evenings: Shows.
Admission period: March 15, 2010.
Note: The dancing pieces to be presented may have a maximum duration of fifteen minutes. They should be handed in DVD together with a brief synopsis of it and an abstract of the work of the artist or company.
