The International Trade Fair was a success, they said
The president of "Empresarios por Venezuela" (EMPREVEN), Alejandro Uzcategui, considered successful the participation of his institution in the International Trade Fair of Havana in which many agreements were signed.
It was fruitful not only because we did not only came into contact with Cuban business executives, but also from other countries as well, he told Prensa Latina.
He explained that his delegation of 36 Venezuelan entrepreneurs laid the foundation for future projects that include transference of technology.
We grant particular importance -he said- to the letter of intent signed with the Cuban Agropecuaria Nueva Paz, which will promote pilot studies in the Amazon and Guarico states to plant vegetables under controlled conditions.
We will work in two activities, cultivation and constructions of homes or tunnels to help develop those areas, he said.
For EMPREVEN president, the proposal of Agropecuaria Nueva Paz, once generalized, will boost food production in Venezuela.
In addition to agricultural issues we also dealt with other sectors, which we will follow up next week during the fair of small and medium companies to be held at the Circulo Militar de Caracas. Cuban exhibitors will take part in the event, he told to this agency.
