Three higher education centers in Ciego de Ávila already include the donation, made up by the fifteen volumes of the critical edition of the complete work of the apostle and fourteen more titles including the yearbook from the Center for the Study of Martí.
Medardo Jiménez, director of the library, pointed out that this contribution facilitates the access of young people and the general population to the ideas of the Master and it also enriches the heritage of the center, which is more that 98 thousand volumes and 36 thousand 592 titles.
The building includes a specialized room, with a huge collection on Martí and it is working in order to connect its computer means to the national network of public libraries.
During the event there was also donated to the Museum of history of that same province a work piece of plastic art by artist Ever Fonseca, which made up the collective exhibition Martí, the Apostle, for the 156th anniversary of his birth.
