Finishing second was Aries Merrit (13.45) from the United States, followed by promising Cuban upstart Dayron Capetillo (13.63).
Fellow Cuban Anay Tejeda came in second in the 100-meter hurdles with (13.12), behind Jamaican Delloreen Ennis-London (13.08).
Today, several Cubans are competing in Montreuil, France including Yarelis Barrios and Yanisley, Yoandri Betanzo, David Giralt and Alexis Copello.
