President of Zambia, Rupiah Banda, met with a visiting delegation of the Cuban Communist Party

Rupiah Banda recalled that during his youth he participated in many activities in solidarity with Cuba and against the US economic, financial and trade blockade of the Caribbean nation.
He acknowledged the achievements of the Cuban Revolution over the past 50 years and praised the strength and resistance of the Cuban people, from whom, he said, “we have a lot to learn”.
During their stay in Zambia until Wednesday, the Cuban PCC delegation will meet with the Cuban-Zambian Friendship Parliamentary Group. They will also meet with Kenneth Kaunda, ex president and father of Zambia’s independence and with Deputy Foreign Minister Fashion Phiri.
