Referring to famed Puerto Rican singer songwriter Danny Rivera, the Cuban official said Rafael Hernandez spirit and Pedro Flores' lyricism are present in Rivera.
Acosta called Pablo Marcano the painter of the Revolution, while he defined Andy Montanez as the man who never believed in the hegemonic power of the market, so he rushed into the world with his strong voice and singular sympathy.
These Puerto Rican artists are a symbols of their national culture which has resisted the US colonizing project for over 100 years, the Cuban official stated.
