Train in Ecuador Cuban Hurdler Dayron Robles
World record holder and Olympic Champion in the 110m hurdles Dayron Robles is heading to Ecuador next week to train until the end of May.

“We are heading to Ecuador to break the routine. There are good conditions in place and we will be able to train peacefully; the isolation also helps concentration,” said Robles.

The 22-year-old sensation from the Eastern Cuban province of Guantanamo recently
returned to the track after injuring a muscle in his left leg on February 10 in Lievin, France.
Joining Dayron Robles in Ecuador is trainer Santiago Antúnez and fellow hurdlers Anay
Tejeda and Dayron Capetillo.

Robles says he feels good physically, and is psychologically prepared to start racing
again. In June he will travel to Europe with hopes of competing in five or six meets leading up to the 12th World Championships to be held August 15 to 23 in Berlin, Germany.
