Cuban and foreign experts participated on Tuesday in physical medicine refresher courses before the Rehabilitacion 2009 Congress from April 8-10 at the Havana International Conference Center.

The forum also includes the Third National Workshop on Rehabilitation in Primary Health Care, the Second International Meeting on Informatics linked to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Workshop of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.

Among issues to debate is early and integral care of the child, family and community, therapeutic modalities of children with special needs, pediatric disability, occupational therapy in Pediatrics.

Magisterial lectures, round tables, poster sessions and open topics are included in the agenda.

Parallel to the event is a scientific-trade exhibition, in which companies, labs and specialized firms can present and trade equipment, medicine, literature and other materials related to the issue of the event.
