More than 250 students and teachers from different institutions in Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama and the host Cuba are expected to take part in the event.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Director of the National Ballet School, Ramona de Saa, explained that one of the new features of the event will be a choreography contest. She said choreography is a specialty that is not studied as much as it is a natural talent, and is important for the institution.
Dedicated to the World Dance Day, the event is also expected to be attended by representatives from the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Spain, Italy and England, among others.
