For his part, Perez Roque said Minister David's visit is a boost to Cuba's relationship with the new government of Grenada.
Likewise, he thanked the Caribbean nation and all member states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) for its friendship and solidarity with Cuba's struggle against the U.S. siege.
The Cuban Foreign Minister added that during his stay in Cuba, Mr. David would analyze the international situation caused by the current crisis and the impact on the economies of Caribbean countries.
Minister Peter Charles David is slated to hold official talks with other top-government Cuban leaders. He will also meet with Grenadian students training on the island.
