World Crisis to Center Debates in Cuban Forum
Representatives of the most diverse schools of thought are expected to attend, said Esther Aguilera, Vice President of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC).

The also Permanent Secretary of the Latin American and Caribbean Economists Association stated this event keeps its timely and necessary nature, which on this occasion will deal especially with the crisis.

Five working commissions and a central panel on the origin and evolution of the debacle will be dedicated to the crisis, having the participation of several Nobel laureates on Economics.

Along that line, the structural causes of the phenomenom will be examined together with alternatives to provide a way out of it, from the point of view of several theoretical schools.

Presidents of central Banks, senators, deputies and other figures whose academic activity allow them to have a structured thought on these problems, will also participate.

The forum will also have two commissions on finances and others linked to development and its link with globalization, migration and the indigenous movement.

Cooperativism will also be examined, topics related to the environment, biofuels, social aspects and the effect of the crisis on education, health and particularly, on employment.

The forum will have space to carry out meetings of the Latin American Cooperativism Network, the Group of the Latin American Society of Political Economy and an international meeting of students of Economics.
