Granma news daily recalls that during their early years all Cuban children receive - free of charge - 11 vaccines that protect them against 13 diseases including poliomyelitis, diphtheria, tetanus, measles, rubella and hepatitis B, among others.

Starting on February 27th and until March 5th, all children under three years will receive two drops orally in a first stage of the campaign. Then, from April 24th to the 30th, a second dose will be administered.

In this period, 137,322 children between the ages of nine and 11 will receive a reactivation dose.
