Blind Cuban Writer to Present Storybook at International Fair
Delia Barroso told AIN that the group made up by dancers and musicians will make an intense tour for a month with single performances in more than twenty cities from the Italian geography, except in Rome, where it will hold six performances in the Italia Theater.

She also commented that the artistic cast is also made up by the solo vocals Jacquelinne Bell and Luna Negra and that the first presentation in Orvieto served as a thermometer to confirm the acceptance of the collective on that occasion with the Mi Habana show.

Among the details of the program, Barroso advanced that the opening includes an habanera, a genre that identifies the roots of Cuban nationality, without diminishing other rhythms throughout the rest of the performance such as the cha-cha-cha, the guajira, the rumba fused with salsa, the mambo, the bolero and the jazz. She pointed out the company will end the tour on 28th February in Florence.

Some of the members of this company –which was re-organized in Havana, last September, under the name of Danzares- had in previous occasions made several tours around Italy and other European nations representing Cuba, as the Rakatán Ballet.
