According to Margarita Quintero Lopez, Executive Secretary of the meeting, the countries with the largest delegations to the event are Cuba, Venezuela and Mexico.

She recalled that this would be 11th edition of the Congress, which has become one of the most well attended events held in Cuba with the participation of specialists of the sector, who will try to find solutions for current education problems.

She added that Cuba will show during this year’s meeting all the transformations currently being implemented in schools for the education of children, adolescents and youths as well as the training of pedagogical personnel.

The Scientific Program of the Congress includes four main topics: integral formation of citizens, scientific and developing education, training of educators and education sciences.

The program also includes round tables, discussions, screening of documentaries, a cultural gala and visits to educational institutions.
