Seychelles Parliament President to Cuba
Shortly before leaving the airport in that capital, Herminie said he is interested in knowing the work of the Cuban Revolution directly, as well as the Island and its brave people.

“I feel profound respect and admiration for your people,” the legislator told Cuban ambassador Maria Aida Nogales in a brief meeting before leaving for Havana.

Heminie highlighted the historic friendship ties between Seychelles and Cuba, which he rated as very valuable for his people.

The Republic of Seychelles comprises a group of 155 islands in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar, with a total surface of about 175.6 square miles

Seychelles-Cuba cooperation is part of an economic, scientific, and technical agreement signed in 1980 and enlarged in 1983, including such fields as education, health, and sports.
